Finalizing; Destruction, Grand Prix, Grand Prix AI, Garage, Quick Pit, Level Design, Quick Race / Custom Race Menu, Final Discord To Do List / Fan Requests, New Official Trailer & Artwork for Steam®

- Players have requested UP+DOWN or Vertical Trim movement.
- Sinking/Listing/Water Onboard has been temporarily disabled.
- Overheating/Catching On Fire has been temporarily disabled.
- While using a controller the triggers interrupt each other and the trim stops proceeding if the previous trigger is not fully released.
- We are also working on controller trigger pressure sensitivity.

- Updated UI; Added a Course Map at the bottom left of the screen that shows the player location in comparison to the course or race track. This can be shown or hidden by hitting "M" in game.
- Updated UI; Added a Directional Arrow at the top of the screen that points at the next buoy's location. This can be disabled in the game options menu.
- Updated UI; Added Navigational Signs / Arrows on each side of the Trim Gauge that indicates your next heading or what to expect at the next buoy. Also indicates if there is a yellow or orange buoy ahead. This can be disabled in the game options menu.
- Updated UI; Added Course Distance Meter on left hand side of the screen which tracks the players progression around the race course.
- Updated UI; Condensed the scoreboard (racer information / name / position) on the left hand side of the screen.
- Updated UI; Best lap now becomes highlighted in green.
- Updated UI; Added buoy reminder cards on the left hand side of the screen to help players remember which side of the buoys they should stay too when driving. These cards can be hidden in the game options menu.
- Updated UI; Rebuilt HUD & Player Controller.
- Updated player respawn. Player now respawns facing the next or current checkpoint.

- Updated pause menu. No longer requires double click to focus.
- Updated menu and racing music playlists. Added 19 new tracks of music. There are now 105 tracks of music.
- Updated Weather / Rain. Rain now collides with the boat and water surface.
- Updated Weather / Rain. Severe weather would happen too often. Severe weather can now be disabled in the game options.
- Updated Weather. Clouds were being stretched too tall.
- Updated Game options; Added Fluid Sim Resolution, Fluid Sim World Size, Commitment Lane, Ceiling Height, Severe Weather, Wind, Elapse Time of Day, Two Cloud Layers.
- Updated boat wakes. The wakes in the game were completely redesigned to look more realistic with the new water - more information can be read in previous patch notes.
- Updated default Tunnel Boat sponsons design.
- Updated crash and wood breaking sounds.
- Updated game rendering settings; Clear Coat & Bloom have been enabled.
- Improved AI; Destruction, Collisions, Wave Detection, Physics; Player able to hit AI several times, AI able to hit AI, AI hits debris, rocks, and buoys more often and takes damage (no damage from buoys), AI can flip, roll, porpoise, catch fire. Permanently damaged AI remains an obstacle in the course.
- Added Pre-Race Hot Lap (Dock Position Single Lap Heat Run) for Pole Position. Can be bypassed by player by driving off course into designated retirement zone.
- Added brand new physics based Wind system that affects both the player and AI boats.
- Added sound concurrency profile for all sound classes. More sounds can play at the same time. Older and more distant sounds will drop off first.
- Added windshield spray (in cockpit view) for when the player gets close enough to an AI boats rooster tail.
- Added wash down effect for when the player gets close enough to an AI boats rooster tail.
- Added Per Object Motion Blur. Motion blur can be disabled or changed in the game options.
- Added Post Processing effects; Vignette, Focal Distance, Dirt Mask, & Lens Flare. PP effects change with player speed, distance and rotation of the camera. Post Processing effects can be disabled in the game options menu.
- Rearview Mirrors have been re-added to the game. They can be hidden and disabled in the game options menu.
- Added Cel Shader option that adds a post process layer that adds a stroke over objects.
- Removed camera shake on Photography Mode.
- Removed the 3D radar from the game.
- Removed all remaining skeletal bones from AI.
- Removed invulnerable dock start phase. Player and AI are no longer invincible for 20 seconds at the start of the race. Instead a commitment lane will be displayed until the player reaches the commitment buoys. The player is expected to stay in their lane until they reach the commitment buoys. Staying in your lane is not enforced by the game, but will lead to the cleanest race starts. Enforcement in the future may be wise/required.
- Photography Mode UI was made transparent. UI still needs work.
- Debris, rocks, and buoys now cause disturbance to the water.
- AI now crashes more spectacularly. Takes more damage more often, and once destroyed - after several crashes, remains an obstacle on the course.
- The land and seafloor now cause damage to the player's boat when the boat bottoms out or porpoises deep enough.
- Outlined the future of expected DLC on TBT Discord®, for after release.
- Fixed Known Issue: Decals and paintjobs no longer vanish when you or the AI take damage.
- Fixed Known Issue: Rain no longer falls through the canopy.
- Fixed Known Issue: Rearview mirrors have been re-added to the game.
- Fixed Known Issue: A course map was added to the game.

- Updated engine sounds.
- Updated AI to use full physics during races.
- Updated Checkpoints. Checkpoints track the player and AI much better now. Buoys no longer drift away from the checkpoint field, which was causing missed checkpoints by the player and AI.
- Updated Buoys. Buoys are now more fun to hit, do not drift from their starting location, have a highlight effect that helps the player find it on screen, and also causes disturbance to the water. The buoy highlight effect can be disabled in the game options menu.

- Updated killswitch achievement. You could get the achievement when you ran out of gas instead of manually killing the motor.
- Updated the sky. It would randomly get too dark during race levels.
- Updated wave peak detection. Added collision capsule that stays deep underwater to help waves be detected more consistently.
- Improved AI rooster tail.
- Optimized player controller, widgets, game instance, AI, player boat and accessory scene objects. Removed unnecessary casting.
- Added MOD-NEREIDA, which is a bonus part of the plugin GENERIC pro by ILLUSTUDIO. MOD-NEREIDA adds significant detail and realism to the Unreal Engine native water.
- Added Announcer. The race announcer's voice is a placeholder and was voiced by AI. We'd like to see these sound files replaced be real voice actors eventually. The announcer can be disabled in the game options.
- Added Radio Man. The radio man will message you before the race starts, when you take damage, and to let you know what kind of turn is ahead. The radio man's voice is a placeholder and was voiced by AI. We'd like to replace these with real voice actors eventually. The radio man can be disabled in the game options.
- Added additional random driver names.
- Added mid-race fuel lane and sound effect to confirm refueling.
- When the boat has rolled over, it will auto-right quicker.
- Letting go of the throttle feels more effective now.
- 14 New boats and dozens of accessories were modeled.
- Fixed Known Issue: When using Photography Mode, while in the cockpit, or using the reverse camera, parts of the UI would respawn unexpectedly.
- Fixed Known Issue: Bounds on Tunnel Boat. Meshes were flickering at race start.
- Fixed Known Issue: Drivers hands were falling through the steering wheel.
- Fixed Known Issue: Water poking through the sponsons.
- Fixed Known Issue: Ocean waves were vanishing after driving for a distance.
- Fixed Known Issue: Waves would not freeze when the game was paused or during Photography Mode.

- Fixed Known Issue: FPS always reverts to 60fps on each map. The framerate is only locked to 60fps in the menu now.
- Fixed Known Issue: Hiding/showing the speedometer resets the fuel gauge. This was intentional for testing/development purposes but has been removed.
- Fixed Known Issue: Restarting after crashing. Player can now respawn at will or restart the level.
- Fixed Known Issue: After rolling or flipping, when the player restarts the engine, the player must let go of "W" or "Throttle" or the engine sound will fade away.
- Fixed Known Issue: Certain "world static" objects (i.e. landscapes) the player could pass through. Sometimes the boat will still spawn inside of the landscapes.
- Fixed Known Issue: Camera is locked during rolling and flipping.
- Fixed Known Issue: When airborne the reverse camera got stuck in the reverse view.

- Updated AI; starts with random speed at start of race and randomizes speed during race, starts on random course path and randomizes course path during race, starts the race "off of the dock" with random time, ai can hit buoys, can have up to 15 AI in a race at once, fully nativized, added randomized paintjobs, racer names and numbers.- Added respawning ability during circuit races.
- Updated Tunnel Boat tutorial.
- Updated Photography Mode; ability to take 8k resolution photos, new frames and filters.
- Added Custom Paintjobs to the game. An informational guide on best practices for creating your own paintjobs can be found here. Users can copy and paste any internet URL or local file URL from their computer when prompted in game. [Minimum Art Dimensions: 2048x1011px 72dpi 8bit - Allowed file types: .png, .jpg, .bmp]
- Added One Button Start which has been turned on by default. Now the player only needs to hit the ignition button instead of the fuel pump + ignition combo. This can be shut off in the options menu.
- Added additional music and the ability to cycle forward and backwards through tracks. Users can also disable the music entirely.
- Added two new buoy styles (pillar, triangle).
- Added turbulence to the water that has been driven through by the player.
- Added turbulence to the water that has been driven through by the AI.

- Locked main menu and maps to 60fps. Users can change this inside video settings.
- Fixed an issue where decals were bleeding through certain meshes.
- Fixed an engine idle sound not fading away on throttle (previous, happened when you started the boat too fast).
- Fixed AI ping ponging issue (previous, happened when AI tried to dodge debris or the player). AI now only interacts with debris and the player when triggered by player proximity.
- Fixed Known Issue: After crashing and restarting the engine the player is required to let go of the throttle or the engine sound will fade away.

- Updated the Tunnel Boat - Skeleton is now completely modular - engine, propeller, hull, sponsons are now all able to be swapped with new unlockable parts of different design.
- Updated vehicle physics solver from PhysX to Chaos for Unreal Engine 5 and future development.
- Updated driver and cockpit; added dash gauges, new steering wheel, drivers thumbs animate with trim, updated driver uniform, helmet, added cockpit rain interaction.

- Added player adjustable sky, weather and wind system. Northerly and Easterly winds randomize on each level or can be adjusted by the player.
- Added radar and radar targets (AI, Buoys, Fuel Cans, Neutral Boats, Landmarks, etc).
- Added randomized handling issues when the boat or a buoy is struck, simulating the steering cables being snagged.
- Added example randomizing paintjobs and race numbers (eventually paintjobs will be unlocked and/or created by the player).

- Fixed killswitch issue (engine sound took too long to stop).
- Engine now overheats if kept at full throttle for too long without turning or using the trim or if damage is taken to rear area of the hull.
- Boat can now catch on fire from overheating or significant damage.

- Updated; Volumetric Clouds, Water Materials, Fluid Simulation & Water Displacement FX, Particle FX (rooster tail) on player and AI.
- Added 1st person "cockpit" view. Players can switch between 1st + 3rd person cameras. Clamped maximum zoom distance and rotation for camera in 3rd and 1st person views.
- Added 10 cinematic cameras that can be cycled though using the number pad keys [0-9].
- Added "Photography Mode" and additional image filters. Image directory is located at C:\TunnelBoatTerror\
- Added trim gauge UI & physical gauge inside of cockpit that tracks the motor angle.
- Added LoD's. Game runs smoother the farther the camera is away from the boat, engine particle FX, and scenery.
- Added "lift" underneath the boat as the velocity is increased. Simulating the hydroplaning effect.
- Added "idling speed", "failed-start velocity", "killswitch" and "speedometer flicker".
- Added placeholder audio to menu and game levels. Added sound FX for destruction and water splashing.
- Added incremental destruction/damage. Canopy, pickle forks, sponsons, rear cowling are now all destructible. Catastrophic damage taken to the sponsons now affects the boats performance in the water.
- Added new buoy style.
- Added levels for each race type; Sprint, Drag, Circuit and a few arcade situations.
- Added blocking volumes (invisible ceilings) so the players boat doesn't fly into the clouds after a collision.
- Video settings are now fully adjustable within the options menu. The game is stable between 55-144fps.
